What the results show

The indicative live sale rate was slightly below September’s 25.0%. Including prior sales, the eligible catalogue rate increased from 34.4% to 37.0%. The available share remained similar, at 51.8% of the full catalogue compared with 51.2% in September. Prior sales and live bidding therefore tell different parts of the story.

For buyers, the original 29 available entries created a further round of potential negotiations. The published prices attached to the nine sold entries totalled £1,511,000. That is a partial disclosed price total and excludes the eight prior sales, whose prices were not included in the workbook.

Updates and coverage

Later update: the official October page retrieved on 4 November labels 130 MacDonald Street (Lot 3) and 55 Dover Road (Lot 19) as sold after. Flat 6, 7 Swiss Road (Lot 14) is now labelled withdrawn post. All three were available in the original workbook. A revised total requires checking every October results page; the original totals have been retained here.

How the sale rates are calculated

The printed catalogue contained 54 lots; the original live schedule contained 56. Portfolio entries count as one catalogue lot, not as their constituent units. The nine sold labels are not an independently timed hammer log. None recorded under sold after at the initial snapshot is not proof of no later transactions.
